Invisalign Oklahoma City Invisalign is a solution for invisibly straightening your teeth. The treatment consists of a series of "clear braces" to gradually shift your teeth into place, without wires or metal. The aligners are custom-made with exact calculations and are replaced about every two weeks. The system is effective at treating a wide variety of orthodontic issues including: crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, deep bite, and open bite. |
Invisalign® Dental Plan
Once you decide that Invisalign is the right solution for you, visit an Invisalign-trained doctor to discuss what you want to achieve. The doctor will create a treatment plan once he or she determines that this is the best solution for you. The process of creating your aligners starts with photographs, x-rays, and a series of impressions. This information is used for planning the tooth movements that will straighten your teeth. The information is then sent to the Invisalign lab for manufacturing your special aligners. The required number of aligners varies from individual to individual; however, a full set of treatment usually includes 20 to 30 aligners per arch. The clear braces are then delivered to you. As your teeth begin to straighten, you will change your aligner for continuing the process. Unlike traditional braces, you can remove these aligners. However, you should wear them for maximum amount of time during treatment. You will have to visit the doctor for occasional checkups, for monitoring your progress and for receiving your next set. Over the course of the treatment period, you will see your teeth gradually moving into place. |
Benefits of Invisalign The first benefit is invisibility. The braces are almost invisible; so you can strengthen you get a straight healthy smile without anyone noticing. Removability is another big benefit of these braces. You can take them off for eating and drinking during treatment; you can also brush and floss your teeth like you did before treatment. Time is the third main benefit. The treatment straightens your teeth in half the time taken by traditional treatment. The braces are also more comfortable than metal braces – there are no wires or metal brackets to irritate your teeth and gums. The fifth major advantage of this treatment is the treatment plan itself. With Invisalign, you see before starting the treatment how your teeth will look when the process is complete. Viewing your plan not only helps you get a good idea of how your teeth will straighten during the process, but it also allows you to suggest changes in plan. |
Invisalign Teen™
Invisalign Teen works exactly like Invisalign, gradually straitening teeth with each set of aligners; but it has some special features to help teens with the process. It has blue wear-indicators, which allow you to gauge wear time as the indicators fade to become clear. The aligners compensate for the growth of new molars and teeth. You get six free individual replacement aligners to use if any go missing. |
