Saving Hopeless Teeth
Teeth with roots that have been damaged or infected used to require extraction. Extracting teeth causes LOTS of problems and should be avoided when possible. The treatment now consists of doing root canal therapy. Now, no one really wants a root canal but if it is necessary you can rest assured that Dr. Schmidt will make the experience tolerable and nearly completely painless. In most cases you won’t have to be referred to another office, and best of all, most patients are only in the chair for approximately an hour! |

Even though Dr. Schmidt takes great pride in being able to deliver painless injections – some people are naturally anxious at even the thought of a needle. This is ideal for fearful people or those who have a busy schedule and want to get all their treatment done in one visit. With some cases we may also prescribe a pill that will help you relax through treatment. Rather than chemical sterilization, we utilize a steam sterilizer to ensure safety for you and the environment. And finally, we have adopted iTero technology that creates optical impressions, which are more precise and less wasteful than traditional materials, for crowns and bridges. |
